when is it best to start looking into colleges ?

i know i probably want to go to college for art school or for fashion design or to be an author, i’m not entirely sure but i don’t know if i’m to young to think about it right now.

Definitely start looking into schools sooner rather than later, especially if you have an idea of which field you want to explore. Fashion and art schools often require portfolios and sample work, so the earlier you are able to work on these pieces, the better. Learning what schools are looking for in applicants will give you ample time to curate your portfolio and sharpen your skills for when the time comes to apply. Freshman or sophomore year of high school is a good time frame if you are aiming to go to college right after high school.
