This will depend where you live, how the business is doing, and your experience level. Depending on the location and how many customers are trying to get a tattoo will most likely have an impact on how much you make.

The average salary is around the $50,000 which is around $4,100 a month.

In North Carolina the average is about $48,495 which is $4,041 a month.

Keep in mind that the amounts I wrote above is for the average amounts, meaning for people that have had some experience within the industry. IF you are good and keep improving you could make higher amounts.
