This is an intricate question with no simple answer and I hope that I can give you a basic outlook on this subject. You didn't mention your age so I am not sure if you are under 18 or 18 and older. It greatly will depend.
How much you will be paid or could get paid as a model today depends on so many factors that it would be impossible to tell you a range or definite figure. How much you can be paid depends on the location of the shoot, the type of project, your agency, the length of the project, your experience, if it's for a magazine, TV, film, runway, novelty, etc.
The way a model's salary is established per project is a company accepts you for the project through your agent. The agent takes 20% of that amount (usually directly from the company/client) and you receive 80% of the salary they said would be the payment. Than there is no telling when your next job would be. This is truly not a career to strive for if your motivation is to guarantee wealth. It's great to get chosen for modeling work but you need to obtain an agent after training and having an impressive, competitive portfolio as well as being the type they are looking for when you go on go-sees. The only way you could ever really know how much money you can make is if you are offered a modeling job, the employer will tell you how much it will be and your agent gets 20% of that and you get 80%.
If you are a child model, the pay is comparable per project to over age 18 models. It's a fabulous career with a lot of variety but work and good pay are never guaranteed. It will take a lot of networking as people in the industry will have to know you and than again, you will be sent to go sees for only projects that need your type. So, as you can see, this field of work is so conditional and salaries are per project, per different companies, that there really is no answer. You will just have to become a model and once you get offers, you will know. There's also no way to know how many projects you will work on in a year, so all the more a salary cannot be foretold. You would have the option to reject or accept any assignment and wait until you get only full time work, but you might miss out on some fabulous one day or five hour projects.
Going into modeling requires understanding how the industry works and being very flexible and open minded about the projects. You will also need to be available and willing to travel sometimes. So it's a lot to consider, more than just the salary and the career should never be based on only how much one hears about how much money one can make.
