How hard is the nursing field really ?

I hear many people talk about how hard the nursing field is. Is it as complicating as it seems to be?

Nursing is difficult emotionally nor than physically. You care for people when they are at their worst. But that's the part that makes it extra rewarding. I've h had the full range of experiences during m my career.
Good times are often dependent on where and who you work with. I've had jobs l LOVED with purple l couldn't stand so l focused on my reason for being there. You have to find a balance between the job, the people and the politics. E every career is like that though.

The nursing field can be challenging, but it also offers rewarding experiences. It requires dedication, continuous learning, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. However, with passion, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, many find success and fulfillment in the nursing profession. To be completely transparent...it is hard work! Requires sharp critical thinking skills, fast on your feet thinking, compassion, dedication, and continued knowledge! It's a lot of responsibility! We are caring for human lives, they are completely in our hands to help, not make mistakes, and improve their quality of life! We save lives, we hold the hands and cry with those leaving this life, we are there to hand a new mother her brand new baby, we help parents overcome their feelings of helplessness watching their child struggle or fight for life! We do it all! No matter what area you choose, there are good points and bad points. We hit lows, we cry, we work short staffed and do numerous jobs. We leave exhausted, get home, go to sleep, and start over again. Is it hard, complicated, a lot of responsibility? Yes, absolutely! Is it worth the blood, sweat, tears, times of frustration, or heartache? Absolutely! Knowing I help make a difference every day, no matter what is thrown at me or added to my plate, I go home with a full heart, good or bad day! Sometimes I do have to remind myself of the good days and what I've done mattered or made a difference to someone but it's been worth it! It's not for the weak, faint of heart, or over-sensitive person. Can't take things personally if a patient/resident lashes out at you, they have inner demons they are dealing with and we are the first line of fire, but it's not about us, it's about things they are trying to work through, work out, or figure out. It's tough, but the rewards of the heart, makes it the only profession I want to be in!
