Sonography is a lucrative healthcare field. In most cases, it only requires an Associate's degree. Pay increases with multiple certifications with the ARDMS. You can also increase your pay by contract job or being a travel sonographer going to different hospitals for short job stints about 13 weeks long.
Gary's answer mentioned that the national average is $60,350. Is the pay in Illiniois comparable to that?
