Colleges primarily want to see that you interned somewhere, and don't place a lot of importance on where you interned. I would try and find something in the field that you want to pursue. Use your connections. If your parents, aunts, uncles, friend's parents know anyone, do not be shy in asking. The worse thing they can say is no! Also, your teachers and school guidance counselor can help. Good luck!

It may be hard to find an internship opportunity as a middle schooler. You could look for job shadow or career exploration events to do. I would talk with your middle school counselor about opportunities as well.
Other good resume builders you could do are:
- A summer camp related to careers. There are many career exploration or camps held at college campuses you could look into.
- Volunteer work- especially if the volunteer work is related to STEM
- Informal interview or job shadows with people in STEM careers
