What are some gifts that you could give to your roommate as a welcome or hello on the first day of college?

I will be in college next year in the fall 0f 2026 and I want to give my roommate that I will staying with on campus a welcome or hello gift on the first day. (I just need to wait until the spring to fill out a roommate application then see who my roommate will be). Any ideas on what I could do as a welcome/hello gift?
