I am a mom of 4 who worked hard day and night to be sure my children understood the importance of an education. I currently have my BA in Technical Management. I am a Customer Care Supervisor at the Largest Wine & Spirits Distributor in the USA. I have previously been the Customer Care Manager, AR Supervisor, & Customer Care Team Lead. I have been a Girl Scout and A Girl Scout Leader. I love actively volunteering my time. I feel it is important to share my experience since I started as an underprivileged minority from the Bronx and have been able to successfully rise in my career and do things i was told I could not do.

What is the most useful piece of career advice you got as a student, and who gave it to you?
The most useful piece of career advise I received as a student was to never give up on my dreams and to work hard for what I want. Nothing ever comes easy in life and the things that you put your blood, sweat and tears to eventually work them selves out and shine at the end. Obstacles will always be thrown at you and it doesn't matter how many times you get knocked off course as long as you are betting back up and redirecting yourself. There will always be a way for your to achieve your goals as long as you don't give up on them. Also just because your path isn't going the way others paths are going doesn't mean it is wrong or it wont happen.
