What obstacles have you faced in life so far that has affected your career path? #Spring25#
When I was in high school, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I had to learn a new normal. I am now a sophomore in college and have decided to become a dietitian/nutritionist due to my diagnosis. I want to be able to help others manage this chronic illness.

I deeply admire people who take the challenges and hardships they've faced in life and transform them into strength and positive outcomes. While I haven’t faced physical obstacles, the family and economic struggles I've experienced have significantly impacted my life and shaped the way I view the world. These experiences inspired my interest in the arts, particularly illustration, as a means of self-expression. Over time, this led me to choose a career path in the creative field. Now, I hope I can use my talents to contribute to making the world a more visually appealing and inspiring place, creating spaces that feel warm and uplifting for everyone. One of my biggest hopes is that we can all outgrow our personal obstacles and use them to help others going through similar struggles, just as we did. So thank you for sharing this experience.
