Hey Juliette!
Great question! Being a veterinarian is like being a doctor, detective, and animal whisperer all at once—plus, you get way more furry hugs than a regular doctor.
Most vets would probably say their favorite part is helping animals feel better—nothing beats seeing a sick or injured pet bounce back to their happy, tail-wagging (or purring, or hopping) self. It’s like giving a real-life power-up! I am sure that's what you hear!
Others love the challenge—figuring out what’s wrong when a patient can’t talk is like solving a mystery. Imagine if your dog came in like, “Woof, something’s wrong,” and you have to piece together clues like Sherlock Holmes—but with more fur and less crime.
And let’s be honest—puppy and kitten cuddles? Definitely a perk. But, uh… let’s not talk about the less glamorous side of the job (yes, there’s poop. Lots of it).
If you love animals and don’t mind a little mess, being a vet is one of the most rewarding jobs ever! Plus, you get to be a hero in the eyes of every pet (and their very grateful humans). ☺️. All the best Juliette, let me know if I missed anything, you got this all he way!
