I've recently been interested in Information
Technology and was wondering what type of jobs there are. I want a job that doesn’t bore me and will keep me entertained all day!

I've been working in IT for quite a while, so I'm familiar with many different jobs. Here's a simple list with a short description for each:

I think that this question is more along the lines of what do you enjoy doing most? There are so many jobs in and around IT that there are probably too many to list. Plus, remember that pretty much any job nowadays will likely have some involvement with technology so if you include those then there probably are only a few that DON'T have an IT component.
I see Dinesh has suggested a few ideas. Here are some more that are still IT jobs, but very different to his suggestions to show you what I mean...
1. Trainer / teacher - you need people to train others how to use IT.
2. Lawyer - most IT companies have lawyers to review contracts and maybe protect ideas through things like patents
3. Testers - everything needs to be tested to make sure it works as expected
4. Designers - who makes that website look good? Who makes that servery look really cool?
5. User experience - how do you know that your software or hardware works in the way people expect it to and that they can use it easily?
6. Technical writers - who do you think creates all the manuals and documentation for IT stuff?
As you can see, there are so many different jobs in IT. I think you should think about the sorts of things that you really like doing and then look for a job that has most or all of those. Good luck!
