What is the best way to get involved in on-campus scientific research? Should I reach out to professors teaching my classes, or are there organizations that match students with research that match their academic aspirations? #Spring25

I am specifically interested in computer science, math and neuroscience. I would like to research where these fields overlap. I think it could have great implications in Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Rita’s Answer

Always connect with your professors and look for opportunities to get involved and assist. College professors are also researchers and typically have several research projects taking place at any given time. They can connect you into opportunities to work as a student research assistant and guide. your path. All the best!
