How can I best use my time in the field as a nurse to prepare for a future career as a nurse educator?
I'm a 38-year-old returning to college and I've always loved the training and education portions of previous jobs. I'm most interested in teaching in a clinical simulation lab for a school of nursing down the line and I'd love some tips for how to be best prepared for that.

Hi Elizabeth,
Let's start by focusing on the process. A solid process encourages positive actions. Make sure to cover all the essential points in each procedure.
Once your guide is finished, consider adding insights from your own experiences. Share what might happen and how to handle it. This is where your expertise truly shines.
Practice presenting with a friend or colleague. When you're ready, record yourself. Pay attention to your expressions and gestures to better understand how you're communicating.
I hope this helps, and best of luck on your next adventure!
