What path did you take to get into conservation?
I want to get into conservation and wildlife rehab. I'd like a few pointers to help me get started in the right direction. #spring25

Hi Rebekah,
Here are some suggestions on getting into conservation!
1. Visit conservation-related places- National/ State Parks, Nature Centers, Zoo's, Wildlife preserves- talk to people who work in these places
2. Volunteer at conservation places. Local Zoos, shelters, and wildlife rehab places
3. Use connections from places you visit or volunteer to ask to do a job shadow
4. Get a part-time job, even if it is pet sitting- just do anything and everything to get experience with animals or parks
5. Take classes in science- biology, zoology, environmental science
6. When you are in college, look into conservation internships- Disney offers many conservation internships!
Check out websites like aza.org, or www.nature.org
I hope this helps!
