Hi Zoey,

Here are some actionable steps for your interview:

1. Be confident. Even if you're nervous, act confident until you truly feel it.
2. Dress for the job you want and the one above it.
3. Maintain eye contact to show engagement.
4. Avoid saying "Ummm" too often when speaking.
5. Prepare questions in advance, like asking about a typical day in the role.

Good luck!

1. Research the company and the position you are interviewing for thoroughly. Look for recent news articles or other posts like Reddit & Glassdoor which give a good insight into what the company is doing, what the company culture is etc. Go prepared with questions to ask them during or at the end of the interview (have a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 questions - this will ensure that you still have a couple of questions to ask even if they have covered the rest during the interview.
2. Know your subject well - you want to show the interviewers that you are confident in your subject matter and that you are passionate about it.
3. Speak clearly and confidently, even though it is very normal to be nervous. You can practice in front of a mirror or with a friend or trusted adult - have them ask some questions and refine how you want to answer them.
4. Dress correctly - wear appropriate attire - your clothes don't have to be expensive but clean and neat.
5. Arrive early so that you can get comfortable with the environment and calm down before the interview.
6. Smile and answer truthfully. If you don't know something, say so.
7. Show genuine interest and enthusiasm in the company and job - they should feel like you are happy to join them & this is not just another job interview.
8. Eat something before the interview and drink water - you will perform much better if you are not hungry or dehydrated,

Good luck!
