What classes have you taken in college that’s been really helpful?
I’m majoring in baking and pastry and I’m looking to take extra classes that could be useful, either relating to my major or just a class that everyone should take at least once.

Taking classes on executive functioning skills like time management, project management, or entrepreneurship will be helpful for you both personally and professionally, no matter your career path.
Additionally, enrolling in a basic economics class can boost your financial understanding. A communications or marketing class will be beneficial for no matter what type of business you go into, giving you an advantage as you continue your career.

I would highly recommend some form of business or economics classes, whether that's accounting, finance, marketing, or micro/macroeconomics. These will help provide you some background knowledge that'll be useful both in your professional life (e.g. if you decide to open a small business, and general understanding of consumer behavior and business operations) or personal life (e.g. increased financial literacy).

Business 101 was really helpful. It helped me understand business, the economy and the way we act as consumers.
