Hello Jonathan, thank you for reaching out to us. Great question! I'm sure you'll find the answers you're looking for. Biology and Chemistry are exciting subjects in high school and can be great choices in college. If you're interested in both, consider a major in BS Biochemistry, which can lead to further studies like MS or PhD in Biochemistry. This field offers many job opportunities, especially in teaching and research at colleges and universities. It's also important in medicine, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies. Look into BS Biochemistry programs at different universities and try talking to biochemists to learn from their experiences. Gathering information from various sources will help you make a smart choice about your college path. Good luck; you've got this!

Hi Jonathan,
First thing that comes to mind is biochemistry. Other options are toxicology, microbiology, environmental science, biogeochemistry, pharmacy or veterinary medicine. You can also look at a double major or a major/minor of chemistry and biology.
I hope this helps! All rhe best to you!

Hi Jonathan, Great question. I have been in a similar situation. I think both degrees will work if you want to continue to get your medical degree. If you are good in math take chemistry route . Both degree you will be able to find variety position in research, working medicine doing lab research or with patience candidates.
