What academic majors are the strongest when considering future plans to apply to med school Are there any that’s considered better/preferred options??

I’m currently a senior in high school. I plan to apply to medical school in the future. Would like more options aside from Biology as a path to med school.

It's wonderful to see you have ambitious goals and a positive outlook on a noble career in medicine. Focusing on biology is a smart choice when applying to medical school. Remember, the toughest part is getting in, so concentrate on Anatomy and Physiology. Excelling in the MCAT entrance exam is also crucial. While good grades are important, don't forget to engage in extracurricular activities and hobbies, as medical schools look for well-rounded candidates. Coming from a family of doctors, I know the journey well. My niece is in veterinary school, and another attended medical school in Virginia. Wishing you the best of luck!
