If you feel comfortable and safe, babysitting can be a good way to start learning responsibility. Maybe try it for someone you know well, like family friends or neighbors. Start small, see how it goes, and don’t be afraid to say no if it doesn’t feel right.

Good question! Try asking your parents what they think about your babysitting. You might also see if there are any local babysitting classes so you can be certified which would help in getting jobs. Another approach would be to see if a friend wants to babysit with you as a team.

And if babysitting doesn't work out, consider other odd jobs like washing windows, helping in a garden, running errands for neighbors or ask what they need.
