Hello, Lauren !

I wouldn't suggest Law School because that would not prepare you for a career within the medical field which Health Policy is.

You would go for a Bachelors Degree in Health Policy, then a Masters Degree in Health Policy. Some colleges that offer the Bachelors would be the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Pennsylvania State University, Mount Saint Mary’s University, and Cornell University. The undergraduate programs for Health Policy typically emphasize skills in policy analysis, health systems understanding, and the ability to address challenges with quality health care at reasonable cost.

For the Masters Program, Stanford, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Cornell, Texas A and M, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the University of Michigan School of Public Health, University of California at Los Angeles, Yale School of Public Health and many more that you can find online for the Masters Degree in Health Policy. Your Masters Program will entail research methods, policy analysis, and formulation, gaining hands on experience through field placements in government agencies, non profits, consulting firms, health care systems, and advocacy groups. Once you obtain the Masters Degree, you will have been prepared to start working in the field of health policy.

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !
