Hi Kara. In addition to LinkedIn, there are many other effective ways to connect with people who can support and inspire you. One of the best ways to network in college is to get involved on campus. Join clubs, organizations, or student associations related to your interests or major. These groups often host events, invite guest speakers, and provide chances to work on projects with others. You will meet students who share your goals and professors who can introduce you to people in your field.

Another great way to network is by attending events outside of your college. Look for local conferences, workshops, or career fairs. Talking to professionals in person can make a stronger impression than just sending an online message. When you attend these events, come prepared with questions and a short introduction about yourself.

Don't forget to connect with your professors and academic advisors. They often have valuable industry connections and can recommend internships or other opportunities. Building good relationships with them can lead to strong references and career advice.
