How can I use my major to find well paying jobs I am majoring in environmental chemistry and want to use it to better the world but am worried that I won't be able to find any jobs that pay well enough to live comfortably. Any tips on how to find jobs for the future??
I am a high school senior so I still have time to figure out my job situation but it would be nice to get ahead of the game.

I recommend taking a look at the field of environmental health and safety and government compliance in the manufacturing industry. This is a niche field that pays its experts very well AND your work would contribute to the greater good in keeping humans safe. Given the low number of people in this field, it does not take long to become an expert! The entry level jobs in this field pay well, too.
If interested, there are MBA and doctoral programs offered in this field as well. The doctoral programs are fairly new, so you would really be ahead of the game if you go this route. Many employers will pay all or part of your tuition for the advanced degrees. Also, keep an eye out of paid internships while in college. They are great experience and give you a foot in the door for employment upon graduation. Good luck!
