You're not alone in this! Memorizing can be challenging for many, including me. But here's a tip: try linking what you need to remember with visuals. Watching videos, looking at pictures, or even drawing can make a big difference. Ask yourself if you're more of a visual learner. Or maybe you learn better by listening. If hearing your lessons helps you focus and remember, go for it! Discover what works best for you and stick with it. You've got this!

Many people face this challenge, and you’re not alone! One thing that really helped me was taking notes in school and still does at work. I jot down the best notes I can and then rewrite them soon after to catch anything I missed. I turn these notes into bullet points, which makes studying for exams much easier. At work, recording and transcribing meetings is a great help. I like to listen to the recordings while reviewing my notes to clear up any confusion. Transcriptions can also be useful, though they might not always be as clear as listening to the actual recording. These methods have worked well for me, and I hope they inspire you to find what works best for you too!

I find that using pictures really helps me remember things. This works well for subjects like biology and history, and even for learning definitions. I like to turn a definition into a simple drawing. Later, when I draw it again, the definition pops back into my mind because it's tied to the image.

When I was younger and had to memorize Latin words, I would think of a word that sounded similar and create a picture in my head. This made it easier to remember. I still think the best way to memorize is by making a mental picture or story. Once you have that image, remembering the words becomes much easier.

Many students experience forgetfulness, so you're not alone. Start by checking if you're distracted during class or while studying. Try using flashcards to remember things that are easy to forget. Reading and writing topics several times can also help you remember better. Developing a habit of reading books can make your brain more receptive to new information. Studying early in the morning is another effective way to learn. Taking short notes and creating study materials like "memory joggers" can be very helpful. Avoid cramming too much information at once. Have fun with your study methods; you can even write notes on sticky notes and place them on the wall. Find what works best for you and stick with it.
