The best part of being a child life specialist varies for each person. For me, I enjoy helping kids tackle tough challenges and being creative in the process.

If you're wondering about the path to becoming a child life specialist, the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) has a helpful website https://www.childlife.org/certification/become-certified. It guides you on the best steps to take. You should focus on getting your education and experience, and then quickly look for pre-internship and internship opportunities. After your internship, you can take the certification exam.
