Hi Marissa. One helpful way to deal with stress is to follow a daily routine. When your day feels organized, you feel more calm and in control. Therefore, you should set regular times for studying, sleeping, eating, and relaxing. A predictable schedule helps reduce anxiety because you know what to expect each day.

Managing your schoolwork is also important. College assignments can pile up quickly and feel overwhelming. To make things easier, you can break big tasks into smaller steps, and make a list of what you need to do. This way, you can focus on one small task at a time instead of everything at once.

Taking care of your body can reduce stress too. Getting enough sleep helps your mind stay sharp and relaxed. Try not to stay up all night studying. Also, eat healthy meals, drink enough water, and try to move your body each day. Even a short walk can help clear your mind.

It is also helpful to give yourself time to relax. Relaxation does not have to be complicated, it can be deep breathing, listening to music, journaling, or spending a few minutes outside. These small moments give your mind a break and help reset your stress levels.

Staying connected to others is another great way to reduce stress. Talking to friends or family about your worries can make you feel better. You can also join clubs, study groups, or campus activities to meet people who understand what college is like.
