Hi Megan. As a Psychology major, you already have strengths that employers value, like communication, research skills, and an understanding of human behavior.

While you only have your bachelor's degree, there are still many jobs you can do that connect to psychology. Some common options include working as a case manager, counselor, human resources assistant, etc. You could also look for support roles in hospitals, clinics, schools, or mental health programs. These jobs might not be exactly what you want long-term, but they can give you real experience and help you figure out which areas of psychology you enjoy most.

Your university might have a job board or a career center that can help you search and improve your resume. Job fairs (both in-person and online) can also be helpful. Don't forget to talk to people you already know, let professors, classmates, family, and friends know that you are looking for work. Sometimes the best opportunities come from simple conversations and personal connections.

If you are worried about paying your bills while you get experience, you can also look for stable jobs outside of psychology. Customer service, office work, tutoring, or teaching assistant roles can all provide good income and still help you build communication and organization skills.

Each job you take will give you more confidence and experience as you prepare for your master's program and your long-term career in psychology. All the best.
