Why does college cost an uncomfortable amount of money despite it meaning less and less each year?

I am a freshman in college, and I do not come from a rich family. In fact, most people I know are having to take out insane loans to cover the cost, despite their status with money.

It's true, college costs have gone up a lot, and many students are wondering what to do. Think about what you want for your career. Do you need a degree for your goals, or are you interested in something else?

Trade and technical schools can be a more affordable option. Jobs like electricians, plumbers, builders, and mechanics are in demand, and trade schools can help you start these careers quickly.

Focus on what you love and plan your career around that. Reach out to people or groups in the field you're interested in and ask for advice. Many are happy to help, and this could lead to job opportunities that give you valuable experience.
