Jerry’s Answer

What an engrossing question!

And I would suppose that you could do a search, but I am not at all sure as to what you will find.

But, The NY Times does, once a week, a pectoral "fashion show", of photos simply taken on the streets of people (with or with out dogs; with our without mates), on what the "locals" think is fashionable. A fun read that I look forward to it every week. The Thursday edition I think.

And how should you go about all this? Aside from a search, perhaps get involved in social media, though that is not for me. Perhaps do your own tour of the city, ad post your pictures, and your comments, and perhaps make contacts in that way, and grow from there.

And... good for you, looking for different tup[es of beauty or glamor in life.

7. NYC Arts Organizations and Community Centers
Check out local community centers or smaller art galleries many need teen volunteers for things like event setup, social media, or helping artists.

8. Fashion Shows and Charity Events
Look for opportunities to volunteer backstage at fashion shows, school fundraisers, or community fashion events sometimes these need extra hands for setup, styling, or organizing.

How to find them:
- Visit the websites of museums, libraries, and art organizations to see their current teen opportunities.
- Check out volunteer websites like and/or search for results.
