There are also jobs that don't require a degree and offer on-the-job training, such as customer support (especially via email or chat), data entry, administrative assistant, coordinator, scheduler, or operations assistant. These roles seek reliable, organized individuals who are comfortable using a computer. Your background in graphic design is an asset here, as it shows you can learn software, pay attention to detail, and work independently.
Instead of focusing only on job titles, read job descriptions carefully. If a job is listed as entry-level, offers training, or accepts equivalent experience, apply. Don’t underestimate your experience, even if it’s from working in a deli. It shows strong work ethic and customer service skills, which employers value. Combine this with your design skills, and you have a solid case for transitioning to a desk job.
