Hi Elijah, while my background is in engineering and business rather than music, I can tell you that the approach to mastering any tricky skill is pretty much the same. Throughout my career I've had to learn complex new systems and processes quickly, and what always works is breaking things down into small pieces and practicing them slowly before speeding up. For triplets, I'd suggest the same thing: start by clapping or tapping the rhythm away from your instrument so your brain internalizes the feel of three even notes in the space of one beat. Try saying "pine-ap-ple" or "cho-co-late" out loud while tapping along because those words naturally divide into three even syllables. Once that feels comfortable, grab your instrument and play the triplet passages super slowly with a metronome, and I mean painfully slow, then gradually bump the tempo up only when it feels easy. Record yourself too so you can hear whether the notes are truly even. And don't be afraid to ask your orchestra director or section leader for help because in my experience the best way to grow is to lean on the people around you! Best of luck!

Ok so understand what the triplet is, feel the pulse, not just notes, and clap before you play, and use a metronome, listen to music with triplets 👍👍👍👍
