What are some of the highs and lows of going to school for a field such as kinesiology/exercise science/sports medicine ?
I am a junior in high school and the 3 majors I listed in my question are what I am heavily considering studying in college. I am on the track of eventually working with dancers and athletes to help them recover from injury, prevent injury, stretch, and to just overall help their bodies. I have learned however that in the location in which I live in, there are not many with insight on some of the benefits and some of the more negative aspects to careers that stem from these majors. I am really interested in learning the highs and lows because this could either steer me more towards this path or further away. Thank you for any help!

I obtained my bachelor’s in exercise science some things my program did I believe were highs is because most of the students focused on physical therapy or occupational therapy, we had a on-site clinic run by occupational therapists and physical therapy assistants. As students we got to learn and get hands on experience with patients that have had strokes and paraplegics and come up with exercises programs and help towards their recovery.
Some lows would be all the time dedicated to studying and being in the lab for the physics and chemistry classes while you are itching to learn more about the body but having the foundational basics is a good backbone of knowledge to start.
