How do i get my foot in the door towards enjoyable roles in charity/sales?
As a second year student with ~6 months of marketing experience through internships, I’ve found 1 involving sales, which made me want to pursue roles in the field. However, I want my work to contribute towards a greater good, such as cancer awareness, assisting children in poverty, etc. rather than profit for a company. How can I get involved in these areas of work? Are there any volunteer opportunities that may lead to internships?

Make a list of the non-profit organizations of interest and take it to your school counselor for further advise on how to approach these non-profits for volunteering or internships. Make sure to ask them about 'informational interviewing' techniques as well.
Be sure to research each organization from your list on-line to see if they have volunteer or intern opportunities. This may help avoid feeling overwhelmed with those general sites that list volunteer opportunities you already looked at.
Lastly, seems like everyone knows someone who works for a non-profit organization, so make sure to ask other adults including your professors, working friends, at church, etc., for someone they know or could introduce you too.
Best wishes!

You can always get a sales job at a good organization that believes in giving back and continue with volunteer activities as well.
