Hi Makayla! You’re in a great place for a career in the environment. Try contacting local state and national parks or nearby environmental groups to find internships or job shadowing opportunities. You might be surprised by how many are available online! Depending on your location, you could be just an hour or so from the Chattanooga Zoo, which offers internships occasionally. Even a wildlife internship can be a fantastic step into the environmental field.
