What is some good advice for a current nursing student who eventually wants to work in pediatrics as a travel nurse?

I am starting the ABSN program at UNC Chapel Hill this summer and my dream is to work as a pediatric travel nurse. Right now, I am not entirely sure what department or specialty I want to work in. I am curious what the best unit to choose is, if my goal is to work as a travel nurse. Any advice about this at all would be appreciated. For example: What would be a good unit to work in for travel nursing? How many years of experience should I gain first before working as a travel nurse?
