How can I stand out as a new grad on my resume and in interviews?
I am a junior in my nursing program, and I am looking for all the advice I can get about how to make myself unique. I would love to work in the ICU to get the experience I need to continue my education in a CRNA program.

Hi Kara, a great way to start is by volunteering in something you enjoy and are good at. Begin with small steps, and soon you'll see the difference you make as you meet new people. You'll build connections and expand your network, and the positive impact you have will keep growing.

To make your resume shine, highlight your unique experiences like internships, freelance work, or volunteer leadership. These show your skills and help you stand out. Customize your resume for each job to make a great impression.
Before an interview, learn about the company’s products, services, and culture. This helps you see if it's a good fit for you, too. Be honest and genuine during your interview, and remember to just be yourself. Ask thoughtful questions to show your interest.
Embrace the process, stay prepared, and go with the flow. Each interview is a step in your learning journey, and your confidence will grow with each experience.
