What can I do to increase my chances of getting into a forensic anthropology graduate program ?

I would like to be a forensic anthropologist. I have a bachelor's degree in biological Anthropology: Human Evolutionary Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but haven't been able to get into a graduate program. My GPA is decent but not great because I started out in astrophysics and changed my major. Also, I was in college during COVID, all of my classes were online, and my TAs were not very involved or helpful.

I have been out of college for 3 years, working, saving money, and taking a few workshops from Mercyhurst University. My jobs have been in office management, not really related to my field of study.

What can I do to increase my chances of getting into a forensic anthropology graduate program?
