You can earn an associates degree in 2 years by going to community college. Before you decide to go to community college you need to decide what you are interested in and in which field you want to get your associates degree.
The closest community college to you is Bergen Community College (https://bergen.edu). They offer a variety of programs in e.g. business. arts, health, public service and STEM. You can find out what the programs offer and how to apply for admission from their website or you can attend an information session.
If Bergen doesn't have a program you find interesting, look at other colleges in your area.
