This is a very tricky question. I am an immigrant from Europe and honestly the process isn't easy at all. The main issue here is to get sponsorship to get the HB1 Visa. However, not all companies can afford (or simply want) to spend that kind of effort, money and time on a single candidate.

Canada is much easier to get into than the US (I am a US worker). Nevertheless, you could start as a remote sourced freelance and make you way into the regular (full time) role.

Research the current roles
Contact current employees
See if they have HB1 sponsorship option
Build your resume and show that you are trustworthy and reliable resource
