My answer to this question would really depend on when I'm asked. I've pivoted a few times in my career and am approximately 1 year into the career I'm in now. There is a steep learning curve because this job is unlike any other I've ever had. There is a lot of relationship building, factual knowledge, adaptability to change, and overall complexity to what I do for a living. The way to deal with it is to ask a lot of questions when needed, remain humble, and give myself grace when I'm doing a new task for the first time.
George’s Answer
My job is fast pace and ever changing. So for me the hardest part is being able to focus even though there are constant interruptions and requests to do other things. I am constantly trying to prioritize my daily work to make the biggest impact. The other big challenge is helping people deal with change. Sometimes it means helping to explain why this change is good. Other times, it means asking someone to stop doing something they are working on and shift to another job or task. It helps to keep people in the loop on what you are doing and give them a heads up if they are going to be affected by a change as much as possible.
