If my strengths are good communication and I'm outgoing and hobbies are doing makeup, what types of careers or industries might best fit me ?

Hi Aliyah, I think you have a lot of opportunities with your strengths. The first one that came to my mind was a seller, where you need to be outgoing, recognize people interests and offer them according to their needs. I also think that a career in public relationships or consultant could be good for you. You may even could specialize in personal advising. For this you will have to also learnt about different cultures, politics.

1. Makeup artist or makeup sales (you can do this on your own (self-employed, entrepreneur) or join a beauty brand / company like MAC, Bobbi Brown, Sephora, etc.)
2. Beauty influencer (if you're also active on social media)
3. Brand ambassador for beauty brand (similar to sales / influencer but you represent the brand at events, retail, etc.)

If you're more entrepreneurial, I'd recommend reaching out to people you admire and who have jobs you'd like to have-- offer to intern, work for free or see if they'll let you job shadow to see if you like it.

If you prefer a more corporate setting with a beauty brand / company, see if they have internships and check out their events if they have any, or reach out to someone in the company for an informal interview to ask about what they do and how their day-to-day goes.
