What is a typical day in your job like?

Hello CJ!

I work for a software company in San Francisco.

Our software provides monitoring and support for a wide range of customers that need help maintaining their applications, webpages etc.

My day to day job is to provide custom discounting for customers that have a very tight budget but need a lot of support. If the customer only has $1,000 to spend but need $10,000 worth of our software, I work with them to close that gap. This way the customer has the support they need, we gain a new business partner, and we develop a valuable relationship that can extend for many years. This can result in the customer increasing the amount they spend with us because we have earned their trust.
