Another part of job is to execute program, start technical projects from scratch and deliver those. Implementations , testing and release are also a major part of my role. I love interacting with people, work together in a team to crack a given problem, try out in lab develop new arenas of the same and make it successful in customer environment. I love being a catalyst and an enabler in my career.
Amit’s Answer
I am one of the Technical Leaders, responsible for Handling Escalations, Drive Product Quality and Drive Automation Innovation.
The daily Job activites also depend on, what level you are working on.
If one is at a starting level, they are just expected to do their daily task, like Writing a piece of Code or Picking up some customer cases.
As we grow up the professional ladder, our Sphere of influence increases.
Example:
Next level will be to do your work without any additional help and also help team members
Next Level will be to participate in work related at Global Level of the company, which can be Product Architecture or company policies.
For me, this is how my day looks like:
Reach office and cool down with a cup of coffee, while checking emails
Check my calendar for any Scheduled meetings and make sure, I am prepared
Review any ongoing Customer escalations
Review the status of my Automation/Innovation projects, which can be Stretch Assignments
Have a casual chat with the team mates around over a cup of tea or some corridor discussions
Get back to work or finish my scheduled meetings
Review my schedule for next day or the Deliverables
Wrap up the day and go home

In general the type of activities one has to participate on daily basis are:
- First thing would be to answer the emails from overseas colleagues and external partners.
- Schedule meetings to monitor on going activities and remove any roadblocks.
- Participate in design and issues technical discussions.
- Participate in technical sessions to analyze various inputs to diagnose a problem and find the root-cause.
- Review and provide feedback on design documents.
- Participate in meetings for technical discussions for future work.
- In between there would be some casual discussions with colleagues.
All-in-all very exciting days full of interactions with multiple people from multiple work areas and disciplines.
