Rachel’s Answer

Neurologists work primarily on an outpatient basis seeing patients in clinic. (There are some exceptions, but most spend the majority of time out of the hospital). When patients are scheduled in clinic, it is much easier to maintain a work-life balance because the physician determines the hours they work and how many patients they see.
