Is Gynecology a fun and cool field?

I am interested in going into medicine, but I feel like it is such a long and hard road, I want to make sure that I will have fun! I love helping people and I am ready to work hard. #medicine #healthcare #pharmacist #health #doctor

Gynecology is definitely a fun and cool field! I have been practicing gynecology for about 30 years and truly enjoy my job. I get to divide my time between routine office visits and exciting surgeries. We see infectious disease, provide some primary care, perform lots of office procedures, and I have the opportunity to treat women of all ages. I definitely recommend considering the field of gyn for anyone wanting a career in medicine.

Gynecology is a superb field that combines both medicine and surgery. You have the benefit of treating young and healthy women, who for the most part, have very positive outcomes. You also have the benefit of seeing the same patients for years and getting to know them.

Gynecology is a rewarding career with a lot of variety. I am glad you are ready to work hard. OB/Gyn is a very demanding residency. Obstetricians continue to take a lot of call in practice as well.
