Bernard’s Answer

Hi Ajayshia,

To be completely honest this is a tough question because the answer is definitely.....It depends. What does it depend upon? Only on you.

In my personal teaching experience the more motivate and confident you are the easier it will be...if you really like share and teach and you are confident in your knowledges it will very easy and pleasant.

I hope this answer is satisfying.

Good look.

Pamela’s Answer

It is if you have no experience and if you don't know about the culture of the country. When I moved to the States I had been working as a teacher for 9 years, and I had experience with kids, teens and adults. So when I got a job in a high school, teaching teens was not new for me. I was also aware of the culture, though I have to say there are thing that still surprise me nowadays, but I keep my mind open. You also have to make sure you are flexible and adaptable, and keep yourself busy and active, otherwise you might feel homesick. But if you're independant enough you should be fine.
Thank you comment icon I am copying Pamela when it comes to being flexible and adaptable. Generally Living in a foreign culture, country is the best way to learn and develop and to be honest its not always easy, you will have days when you are struggling and you will have days when you are homesick and when you might cry, but remember that this happened to all of us. leaving home is a huge step and a lot of people done even dare to take this step, so be proud of yourself and the you are down, keep in mind that tomorrow is going to be a better day. generally I would go with this advice, when living in a foreign country, whatever you see/experience which might be new or weird to you.... Its not good, its not bad, its just different! Susanne Handstein
