short answer is no. You don't need to go to business school. There may be a MBA program that specialize in opening a small business but I am not sure. Dental school generally do not emphasize in business aspect of dentistry. The idea is learn as much as you can, find a mentor, or watch closely how other dentists practice and ask for advice.
