How hard is it to get into the sneaker industry?

I am into sneakers and sneaker reselling and was wondering how hard is it to come up as an individual buying, trading, and selling sneakers. And what is the process to coming up from sneakers? Is it selling to friends, online, or to shoe stores? And where is the best place to purchase authentic sneakers that aren't overpriced, whether it's a store or a website, etc. #sneakers #resellingshoes

Full disclaimer - I am not in this industry but I do understand business. What makes business so different today as compared to years prior is that any individual can build a brand themselves by effectively using social media. The same tools and guardrails still exist as compared to traditional business such as - carving yourself a niche, keep that niche focused on your core product, networking with those around you and lastly and most importantly - HUSTLING! No days off. So where do you buy and trade shoes, what platforms do you use? Neighborhood app, poshmark, Amazon, etc. Where is the best place to buy authentic sneakers? I would google maps the sneakers stores in the area you live and go talk to them - but be aware they may not want to talk too much because they may feel that you are a up and coming competitor. I would also get into some of the chat spaces online that may have people with advice in this area as well.
