What are the most important qualities of being a doctor?

I go back and forth between choosing to be a lawyer or a doctor. At this point I just need to know what qualities work best for each profession. #doctor #qualities-of-doctors

HI,

Both of these professions are great. As a current medical student I can speak on behalf of becoming a doctor. Qualities that I believe are good for becoming a physician are dedication to the field, willing to constantly learn throughout your career, motivation to always keep going regardless of the obstacles, compassion for the patients and families you will encounter, positive attitude, hard working, attentive, brave, energetic, responsible, vigilant, organized and passionate person. I know this seems like a lot but physicians should be well rounded and honestly really passionate about learning, science and medicine. Becoming a physician is a long road but if you have these qualities you will be a great physician.
