Professionals work very hard at what they do. There is a lot of practice. It will require you to spend time dedicated to specific details.
BTW, the same can be said about those who want to be an engineer, an athlete, a doctor etc... They all must hone their skills and you must be willing to put in the time. You will find yourself sacrificing other things you like to focus you your primary goal.
People who are competitive are willing to put in more effort than those around them. Every skill you possess can be improved upon, but they all take time and deliberate training.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to be rich at age 25. Just know that the best player at a high school does not necessarily get to play in college. And the best person at the college in football does not necessarily get to play in the Professional League. And the average career in the NFL is only 3.3 years, many of them have gone broke. That is not to say that you cannot make millions in the NFL because somebody is getting paid, but you might start by opening up your options incase you twist an ankle along the way.
