If you want to become a teacher you need to have the basic qualification but first you need to decide which class you want to teach the secondary, higher secondary or as a lecturer at colleges.

The minimum qualification for the secondary or higher secondary is graduation degree in education that is B.Ed., B.Sc. etc.

You can also appear for the TET or other government job exams conducted every year for the teachers.

To become the lecturer at the university level you may also apply for the NET examination. UGC NET Exam is conducted to determine the eligibility for lectureship or JRF.

After qualifying the NET exam check out the vacancy in the university in which you want to become a lecturer and apply.
